Wednesday Whimsy

I think most of us have a {little} something around the house 

that makes us feel good when we walk by.

I'm not talking about something of profound significance.

But rather a little slice of whimsy to encourage our sense of well being.

Here's my 'something'~ just outside the front door~

I have had these little rubber boots for quite a few years.

This year something new volunteered in the toe!

Ground cover with a delicate lilac bloom!

As much as I love my little boots,

It's actually the chair that makes me smile.

How about another view~

{How did that leaf sneak into the picture?}

It's the cutest little wooden folding chair that I bought
at a first-rate antique store for $5.
That's probably more than it's worth as a chair
but that doesn't matter...

It was the tag that stole my heart.
